About Me
Born in Portugal (b.1973) living by the coastline and always close to Nature and the ocean which led me to surf since I was 12 years old.

Worked the last 20 years in the executive private aviation and while doing so, I had already found in art and design my way of expression. Now, I have decided to pursue and explore this passion by creating art pieces with driftwood crafted by the sea.

I spend my free time taking advantage of our seasons here in Portugal that are well defined and allow us to explore different activities, among them I have chosen - trail running, hiking, dirt biking, surfing, reading, and listening to music on winter days. The winter surfing season gives me a chance while searching for waves to look for opportunities on collecting unique logs from all around the surrounding coastline.

The raw nature of the sea has shaped who and how I am in all areas of my life. My two sons are also in love with the ocean and are soul surfers.
Now, is the time to give some of that experience and love back and share my artwork with those around me.
I truly believe that I am giving something back to the ocean that has given me so much, by creating sustainable works of art with the wood that ends up on our shores.

Searching for driftwood gives me pause and offers the space for unpredictable creativity. Having the privilege to work on these unique structures shaped by the sea brings me great peace and joy. Thank you!
